MOAH is looking to build its social media team and expand its presence in the community!
Social media and community advertising volunteers will assist our gallery supervisor with managing our Instagram and Facebook pages and conducting outreach in the local community.
Possible Responsibilities:
Generating content ideas, designing signage, neighborhood canvasing, posting flyers, filming, photographing, editing, writing, and researching (depending on a volunteer’s interests and skill level).
Scheduling is flexible, but we need our volunteers to be available sometime during our open hours, which are Fri., Sat., Sun., 11am to 4pm. We ask that new volunteers commit to fulfilling a minimum of 4 hours per month and that they remain on staff for at least 4 months.
Help us and become a volunteer! The Museum of American Heritage relies on 100+ committed volunteers to help us operate the museum. From maintaining exhibits to helping in the garden, we can find the right opportunity for you!
