Every year, thousands of businesses like Hy-Vee, raise much needed funds to help us find a cure for childhood cancer by holding lemonade stands and fundraising events of all kinds. You will help the Hy-Vee location at the lemonade stand collect donations and support ALSF in our mission to end childhood cancer.
Similar to Alex's story, what started as one store helping a local family, has blossomed into a community effort throughout Kansas and Missouri, with more than 23 Hy-Vee locations hosting lemonade stands annually. Wanting to do more than host lemonade stands throughout the year, Hy-Vee has championed all children affected by childhood cancer throughout the community by integrating the Foundation's mission into several of their marketing initiatives and sponsorships.

ALSF provides emotional, financial and logistical support to childhood cancer families that makes their challenges more manageable. Programs like SuperSibs and Travel For Care have an immediate impact on families dealing with a childhood cancer diagnosis.
Description
Childhood cancer research remains consistently underfunded compared to other types of cancer research. As the largest independent charity dedicated to childhood cancer research and family support in the U.S., we’ve developed our research grant program to make the greatest impact possible for these kids.
