We’re excited to host a Meat Raffle as the Annual Fundraiser for Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity. But we need YOUR help to make it a success!

This event is a fun way to raise funds for affordable housing projects that build strength and communities.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with various tasks:

  • Welcoming Guests/Entrance - Check guests in upon arrival, share information about the event
  • Raffle Drawing Assistance - Pull tickets and announce winners, keep track of winners, verify tickets, help distribute prizes
  • Ticket Sales - in friendly and enthusiastic ways engage with guests to explain how the raffle(s) work encouraging them to purchase tickets for the raffle rounds, basket raffle, or 50/50. Includes the handling money and making change
  • Food & Beverage - help with serving food or drinks to guests at the kitchen window
  • Set up & Clean up - Set up will take place on 5/16 organizing tables, placing raffle prizes, setting up signage, etc. Clean up will happen after the event on 5/17
  • Floater/General Assistance - answering guest questions, directing them to different areas in the event, taking photos and videos of the event, and whatever else may be needed

Set up Volunteers - 5/16/25 in the afternoon/evening
Event Day - 5/17/25 4pm-10pm

Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity began in 1993, as a volunteer-only non-profit. Our Geographical Service Area includes the western half of Niagara County, New York. Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity International began in 1976 as a grassroots effort. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in more than 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a "hand up" partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.
