True Believers Community Connections invites YOU to the quarterly event on June 14th for the Community Giveaway! This giveaway is a community-focused initiative aimed at supporting and empowering local residents. This event connects youth, families, and the community to various resources and services, promoting summer cheer, and the spirit of giving. Activities typically include distributing school supplies, clothes, food, and special gifts. We provide educational resources, clothes, food, and special gifts from those sponsoring the event, and a raffle. Mission Statement

Our mission is to foster community relations throughout the local community by collaborating with community partners to offer supportive services for youth/young adults aged 11 to 24 in the Auburn Gresham, Englewood, Greater Grand Crossing, and the Chatham communities, empowering young women and men to live healthy, productive lives.

Description

For a decade, TBCC has been at the forefront of delivering impactful services in our targeted areas, gaining valuable experience in supporting high-risk individuals and families. Our focus encompasses mentoring, social-emotional learning, service learning, employment, delinquency prevention, and poverty alleviation. Proudly holding a CARF International accreditation for community youth development, which is a testament to our unwavering dedication to delivering high-quality services.

Through our After School Leadership Program, Summer Camp Program, and Case Management Services we wholeheartedly embrace the challenges that youth face. Our core passion is on creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. Our programs offer a diverse range of activities, including mentorship, leadership development, and workforce training, all designed to empower the youth of Chicago's South Side.
