Nova Ukraine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Since then, we have donated over $110 million worth of humanitarian aid.
We are looking for an HR volunteer to join the charitable organization Nova Ukraine. In this role, you will participate in the onboarding process of new team members of our organization.

What We’re Lookin For
- experience in the role of HR, HR-generalist;
- English language proficiency level not lower than B2 (knowledge of Ukrainian will be a plus);
- high level of written and oral communication skills;
- ability to plan, organize and coordinate processes;
- high level of responsibility, independence and initiative;
- desire to join a team aimed at achieving positive changes in society and helping those in need.
What You’ll Do
- conducting a welcome meeting for newcomers and meeting newcomers on their first day of work;
- supporting and updating the onboarding process;
- transferring the necessary information about the organization, mission and values of the charity fund;
- answering and resolving possible questions;
- сommunication with hiring managers regarding the recruitment process;
- receiving feedback/providing feedback after the interview.
Work conditions:
- Volunteer role (unpaid).
- Remote work with flexible collaboration via Slack.

Description
Nova Ukraine is a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit organization (EIN 465335435) dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States as well as in the rest of the world. Through your generous donations, we fund a variety of efforts to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. We organize fundraisers, cultural events, meetings with Ukrainian celebrities, and roundtable discussions dedicated to Ukraine, among other initiatives. We also collaborate with nonprofits and volunteers on the ground to further our mission. Since 2014, we have collected over $35 million in donations.
