ORGANIZATION: RAY OF HOPE CANCER FOUNDATION

Ray of Hope is excited to introduce our brand-new Hope Blooms event and we are looking for volunteer support to help make it a success! Hope Blooms is happening on Saturday, April 26th from 10 am - 2 pm at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Guests will enjoy live string music, the opportunity to build their own flower bouquet, a photo booth, a breakfast and lunch buffet, a bloody mary and mimosa bar, and so much more!

Below is a list of the role we are still looking to fill and shift times:

  • Set up, 9 am - 10 am
  • DIY flower bouquet check in, 10 am - 12 pm
  • Event check-in, 12 pm - 2 pm
  • DIY flower bouquet check in, 12 pm - 2 pm
  • Tear down, 2 pm - 3 pm

We will have a virtual volunteer meeting the week of the event, and a recording will be sent out to those who cannot make it. All volunteers are welcome to enjoy the event as a guest of Ray of Hope before/after their volunteer shift.

To respond to the urgent needs of Coloradans with cancer by providing financial and mental health assistance with dignity and humanity.

Description

Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation (ROHCF) provides grants to Coloradans undergoing active cancer treatment, without discrimination such as age, gender, or cancer type. There are no restrictions on the use of our grants, allowing recipients to address their most pressing needs, whether it be food, transportation, rent, or other expenses. Funds are given directly to the patient, giving them the autonomy to manage their needs without sharing the sensitive details of their journey.
