The Volunteer Community Outreach/Event Planner will play a vital role in supporting the Transitioning Warrior Foundation by assisting with the planning and execution of various events, including fundraising events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives. This is a volunteer position that requires an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting the Foundation's mission.
Event Planning & Coordination:
Assist with the planning and execution of various events, including fundraising events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
Assist with tasks such as venue selection, budget planning, guest list creation, and vendor coordination.
Assist with the development of event timelines and schedules.
Assist with the creation of event materials, such as invitations, flyers, and presentations.
Assist with on-site event logistics, including set-up, registration, and guest check-in.
Community Outreach:
Assist with identifying and securing event sponsorships.
Assist with marketing and promoting events to the community.
Assist with volunteer recruitment and coordination for events.

Coming Home Well is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering Veterans and First Responders as they navigate the complex journey of returning home, transitioning from service, and re-assimilating into civilian life. Our mission is carried out through a dynamic network of podcasts, meaningful collaborations through our outreach nonprofit, The Transitioning Warrior Foundation, and the CHW Streaming Radio Channel-offering information, inspiration, and connection to those who have served. Through these platforms, we provide a voice, a community, and a path forward for those adjusting to life beyond the uniform.
