The Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging (PPAAA) is looking for caring, dependable volunteers to help older adults in our community with basic yard work. Many of our senior neighbors are unable to keep up with outdoor maintenance and could use a helping hand - that's where you come in!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Raking leaves
Pulling weeds
Light trimming and pruning
General outdoor cleanup
Location: Varies - homes throughout the Pikes Peak region
Time Commitment: Flexible! Weekdays or weekends, typically 1-2 hours per yard
What’s Needed:
A kind heart and willingness to help
Basic yard tools (if you have them)
Ability to do light to moderate physical activity
Respect for personal boundaries and scheduled tasks
Please Note: Volunteers will only complete the specific yard tasks requested by the client. Additional chores or requests outside of the agreed-upon scope are not permitted.
This is a great opportunity to serve your community, enjoy the outdoors, and brighten someone’s day - all in just a couple of hours!
