The Dallas Memorial March is more than an event-it’s something you have to experience to fully grasp the impact a weekend event can have. Every story shared, every step taken and every dollar raised supports Carry The Load’s mission to provide healing services for our nation’s heroes and their families.
This community event brings people of all ages together to remember our heroes, share stories of service and sacrifice, and stand united in gratitude. Whether you walk one mile or stay for the entire 20-hour march, your presence helps ensure their legacies live on.

Mission Statement
What started as a mission to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day has grown to include more than just our military heroes and more than just the one holiday. Carry The Load works to bring all Americans together to participate in honoring our nation’s heroes every day.
Description
Our Goals are:
To raise awareness of those who sacrifice for us daily by providing Americans an active way to remember, honor and celebrate them.
To raise funds to be distributed to non-profit partners who provide healing services for the mind, body and soul of our warriors.
To inspire patriotism in our youth by educating them about the American flag and the sacrifices made to honor it.
