For the 12th year, we are helping host the 3.17-mile charity run with RUN (317) where the money raised on May 29th will be donated to our organization's programming where we help people and nature thrive! Why Participate? RUN (317) is more than just a race; it's a community-driven effort to make a difference and volunteers are crucial to the success of this event. As a thank-you for your hard work, you will also receive a free food ticket, beer ticket (if 21+), and a Run 317 t-shirt! As a course marshal, you will play a vital role supporting the participants and directing them on the route. You will be assigned a specific spot on the course. You will be needed at your place by 5:30pm at the latest, so please be sure to arrive early to find parking ahead of the start time.

What to wear: Please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes, and your RUN317 t-shirt. Shirt pickup will be available a week before the event--our team will contact you with more information.

What to bring: Your own water bottle, and a positive attitude!

NOTE:THIS IS A DIFFERENT CHECK-IN LOCATION THAN OTHER VOLUNTEER JOBS FOR THIS RACE, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ARE MEETING AT THE HENRY W LONGFELLOW MIDDLE SCHOOL 28 AND NOT AT THE KEEP INDIANAPOLIS BEAUTIFUL HEADQUARTERS.

Transportation Information: IndyGo Bus #90 stops at Fountain Square Station NB, which is a 15 minute walk from the project site. Click here to plan your trip with IndyGo!
