Direct Patient Care Volunteers visit with patients to provide support to the patient and family. Volunteers do not provide any type of personal care (toileting, feeding,etc.). They are here to provide added support to the patient by providing companionship and frienship. They also provide supoport to the family by sitting with the patient so the primary caregiver can do shopping, attend appointments, or run much needed errands.
