The Therapeutic Mentoring Program is recruiting mentors in Harford County. We are a one-to-one, strength-based mentoring service for youth receiving treatment for emotional disabilities. Founded in 1998, the program matches youth, ages 9 to 17 with adult mentors. Orientation and training provided by our professional volunteer team and clinical staff. At this time, visits between mentors and mentees are mostly in-person and occasionally conducted via Zoom, depending upon COVID outbreaks.

Mentors become a special visitor, a positive role model and a consistent person in a child's life. Children learn that a healthy relationship includes trust and responsibility. We have seen this serious and personal commitment by an adult change a child's life.
