Position: Senior Volunteer - Office Support
Location: Norfolk County Administration Office
Commitment: 4 - 8 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible within business hours
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Volunteer to assist with light office tasks,
including auditing insurance invoices and filing documents. This role is ideal for someone who
enjoys administrative work and wants to contribute their time and expertise in a structured office
environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and audit insurance invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Organize and file documents in physical records.
- Assist with basic data entry and record-keeping tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
- Support general office operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with administrative tasks or office work preferred.
- Basic knowledge of reviewing invoices and document organization.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Volunteer opportunities include mentoring pre-release inmates, tutoring elementary school children, drivers for Veterans, meals on wheels and food pantires, friendly visiting, non-profit support services and many more! N.C. RSVP will find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests & schedule and impacts the needs that are most critical to our county's communities. N.C. RSVP provides mileage reimbursement, accident & liability insurance, an invitation to our annual recognition event, monthly newsletters, orientation & training.
