The Agape National Academy of Music (ANAM) is seeking a skilled and creative volunteer to support the development and improvement of our WordPress website. As ANAM grows both in Liberia and the U.S., it’s important that our website reflects our mission, programs, and vision in a clear, engaging, and up-to-date manner.
We’re looking for someone who can:
Update existing pages by replacing outdated content with new copy (provided by the team)
Help build and design 2 to 3 new tabs or sections to highlight new programs and events
Offer design and layout recommendations to improve user experience and visual appeal
Assist with website structure and strategy to better serve our community, partners, and donors
Qualifications:
Experience with WordPress editing and page building (Elementor, Divi, or similar tools a plus)
Strong eye for design and attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate remotely
Passion for music education, youth development, or nonprofit work is a bonus!

The mission of ANAM is to transform and enrich lives and communities by offering high-quality, free, and low-cost instruction in music to children and youth, providing leadership and life skills, and performance opportunities that contribute to the cultural life of Liberian communities.
Description
ANAM is the only fully operational music school in Liberia-a small country in West Africa. Since 2008, ANAM has provided free and low-cost music and arts instruction to underserved children and youth. The academy offers both group and individual lessons, along with training in music education, ear training, worship leadership, and instrumental performance. Many students have gone on to lead worship and music ministries in churches across Liberia.
Liberia has faced immense challenges in recent decades, including two civil wars, a devastating Ebola outbreak, and the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. These crises severely disrupted education for an entire generation. Though rebuilding is underway, the process is slow and requires long-term commitment.
ANAM is part of this recovery effort-empowering children and young adults with music education, creative expression, and leadership opportunities. To date, the academy has served over 600 students, many of whom are now musicians and leaders in their communities.
In 2025, ANAM is expanding its mission to the United States by launching community-based programs in Georgia. Partnering with schools, churches, and local organizations, ANAM Georgia will bring accessible music education to underserved children. This expansion builds on ANAM’s proven model, helping more young people discover their potential through the power of music-both locally and globally.
