Description

Founded in 1989, Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
  • Driver's License Needed
  • Must be at least 17
  • Orientation or Training
  • We are looking for volunteers to help for the morning of our event. We will have a short virtual training a few days before the event.
  • Required to attend at least one virtual training planned for a few days before the event on either the 21st or 23rd in the evening time.
