About VILLAGE OF DREAMS

Location:

N/A, PLEASANTON, CA 94588, US

Mission Statement

The Village of Dreams aims to remove barriers to student success. We help students reach their full potential by providing financial assistance, educational resources, and role models, with the goal of inspiring, empowering, and nurturing them so that they can fulfill their dreams.

Description

Our projects began in rural Himalayan communities, where we had great success in promoting English literacy and placing students highly in district exams year after year. These projects served to promote their educational and work opportunities, thus breaking cycles of generational poverty. Now, we are working to share The Village of Dreams mission across the globe through school clubs, fundraisers, and outreach projects. Kids helping other kids fosters a sense of community and provides valuable shared experiences for everyone involved. Together, we can make a change in our world that will carry through to the next generation, and build a world in which every child, regardless of social, financial, or circumstantial conditions, can dare to dream.
