Administrative & Program Support Volunteer

Position Summary:
The Administrative & Program Support Volunteer at Empowerment Pathways plays a key role in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations through the management of electronic records and support with insurance-related administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting a mission-driven organization through high-quality administrative work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update electronic client records and documentation in compliance with organizational and legal standards

  • Assist with organizing, digitizing, and securing confidential files and intake forms

  • Support communication with insurance providers, including preparing and submitting documentation, verifying coverage details, and assisting with claims-related follow-up

  • Track and organize insurance-related correspondence and ensure timely processing of forms

  • Assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, and maintaining accurate logs of services rendered

  • Support program staff with digital recordkeeping, tracking participant engagement, and preparing relevant reports

  • Participate in team meetings as needed and contribute to streamlining administrative processes

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or electronic records systems

  • Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • Familiarity with insurance processes or a willingness to learn (training will be provided)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated by Empowerment Pathways’ mission

  • Previous experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or administrative settings is a plus

Time Commitment:
Flexible scheduling with a suggested commitment of [X hours per week], ideally for a minimum of [X months]. Remote work may be possible depending on task assignments.
