Sewa-DC is organizing a mulching event at the Cub Run Rec Center Trail in Chantilly, VA, to prepare the trail for the summer months. We would like to invite you, your family, and friends to join us in this project. Your participation will ensure everyone can enjoy walking the trail and appreciate the outdoors in the coming months. Who can attend: Anyone who likes working outdoors - No age limit anybody is welcome. Volunteer Hours: 3 hours Please wear a comfortable, full-sleeve shirt and pants with closed-toe shoes. No Shorts, please. Also, students under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Feel free to invite your friends and family. The 9/11 Day of Service is open to everyone, not just Sewa members. If you have extra wheel barrow, rake or spade please bring it with you for the event.
