Ravi is a young adult man with disabilities, in his early 20’s, who is seeking a volunteer male friend (ages 21-40) in the Friend 2 Friend Adults with Disabilities Community Program. He lives independently in an apartment near his supportive family. Ravi’sinterests include eating out, mini golf, going to the movies, playing bingo, and watching sports. Ravi can take Ubers/Lifts to meet his friend. Each friend covers their share at meetups.
The commitment is to meet up with Ravi for 2 hours, once a month, for a year. A volunteer who is available on weekend days, Tues/Thurs mornings, or Wednesday evenings to meet up with Ravi would be great. No experience with people with disabilities necessary. Every match has a clinical match specialist to provide guidance and support. JBBBS welcomes all demographics. Participants and volunteers are Jewish and non-Jewish.
