Our volunteer program is designed to provide valuable hands-on humane large animal experience for both veterinary technicians and Pre-vet students. Within our innovative sanctuary setting, participants have the chance to shadow our team on sanctuary care for rescued animals, learn about hoof care, prevantative care and general high-quality husbandry practices. These experiences offer practical knowledge and skills that are invaluable for their future careers. Whether it's gaining insights into animal behavior or participating in enrichment activities, our program offers a unique learning environment tailored to the interests and aspirations of aspiring veterinarians. We welcome Pre-vet students to join us in making a difference in the lives of our animal residents while furthering their education and professional development.
