Recruiting Organization: The Tech Interactive
The Tech Challenge is a one-of-a-kind experience where students showcase their engineering ingenuity, and none of it would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers. We have a variety of volunteer roles available, including judges, team check-in assistants, engineering journal judges, and event support. Whether you're looking for a hands-on role or something more behind-the-scenes, there’s something for everyone!
Volunteer Roles Available:
- Judges: Evaluate teams, examine devices, and assist in award recommendations.
- Team Check-in Assistants: Welcome teams, track arrivals, and help direct them.
- Engineering Journal Judges: Review and assess engineering journals.
- Event Support: Flexible roles to assist wherever needed throughout the day.
- And more!
Why Volunteer?
- Be a part of an inspiring event where the future of innovation is on display.
- Network with other volunteers and community members.
- Enjoy snacks, lunch, and a great atmosphere!
- Make a difference in the lives of young innovators.
Check out this cool video about what it's like to volunteer! https://youtu.be/pgogesAdbvw?feature=shared
Training: Volunteers will receive training in their roles on the day of the event, and judges will attend a training session in advance (either in-person or through a webinar).
Adult volunteers must pass a criminal background check.
We’d love for you to help spread the word and encourage volunteers from your network to sign up. Every volunteer makes a significant impact, and your support is crucial to the success of this event.
