Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Celebrate Earth Day 2025 with a Cleanup at Mammoth Cave National Park!

Join us in honoring Earth Day by helping to keep Mammoth Cave National Park clean and beautiful! Together, we’ll remove litter and preserve the natural beauty of this iconic site. All ages are welcome, and supplies will be provided. Let’s make a difference--one cleanup at a time! Volunteers will help park staff pick up litter and debris along roadways, trails, and visitor use areas (i.e. campgrounds, churches, and picnic areas).

Volunteers will meet between 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. to check-in and receive orientation and a safety briefing. Participants should wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bring their own water, snacks, gloves, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses). The park will provide insect repellant, cleaning supplies, and safety gear. While volunteers of all ages are welcome to attend, participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
