We are excited to announce a new volunteer opportunity to assemble Therapeutic Kits/Summer Kits for our amazing kiddos! These kits will be packed with goodies including clear backpacks, noise-canceling headphones, first aid kits, sports bottles, ball caps, and a few extra surprises.

Volunteers will help assemble the kits next month, ensuring each one is complete and ready for distribution at the end of May-just in time for summer fun! This is a fantastic chance to support our youth with tools they can use all summer long. Join us in spreading a little sunshine and making a positive impact in the community!

Mission Statement

Preserving and Reunifying Families M.I.K.I.D. exists to improve the behavioral health and wellness of children and youth through a family centered approach.

Description

M.I.K.I.D. is the largest family-run behavioral health organization in Arizona. We have a strong presence across eight locations in the state, and we expanded into Colorado in January 2022. Our mission is to improve the behavioral health and wellness of children and youth through a family-centered approach. We employ over 150 professionally trained staff offering an array of services to families of children with emotional and behavioral challenges. M.I.K.I.D. provides education, resources, and support. Our programs focus on developing skills, networks, and readiness to manage their own physical and mental health for the youth and their families. This is accomplished by providing one-on-one family support, transitional age youth services, peer support, health promotion, support groups, training, and education, both individual and community-based living skills, respite, and connecting families and individuals with natural supports in the community.
