Join Us in Fighting Food Insecurity

Be a part of Mission Action's El Mercadito, a vital community-driven food distribution program at 1050 South Van Ness Ave. We believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious, culturally appropriate food, and we need dedicated volunteers to help make that possible. El Mercadito operates as a market-style pantry, allowing individuals and families facing food insecurity to select their own groceries with dignity and choice. This welcoming environment ensures that families receive food that meets their dietary and cultural needs. Our distribution takes place every Wednesday, and volunteers play a key role in ensuring the process runs smoothly.
