In response to the community's need for more female-centric programming, Houston reVision and the Connect Y partnered to launch an all-girls soccer league in Fall 2024. This initiative creates opportunities for female athletes in the Gulfton-Sharpstown neighborhood to access structured league play. Many soccer programs in this community are traditionally male-only clubs, limiting access to a large female population. The YMCA of Greater Houston is looking for dedicated female coaches to volunteer 2 hours per week during our sports season.
