Love being outdoors and getting your hands dirty? Come help us keep the Acacia Healthy Aging Center looking its best while making a difference in the lives of older adults!

We're looking for a dedicated volunteer with basic gardening experience to help maintain our grounds. Tasks include mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, pulling weeds, pruning plants, and other general yard work.

What you'll do:

• Use basic gardening tools (lawn mower, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, etc.)
• Keep the garden area neat, welcoming, and safe.
• Work independently and enjoy the fresh air.

What we're looking for:

• Available 4-5 hours per week (weekdays or weekends - your choice!)
• Able to commit for at least 3 months.
• 18+ years old.
• Comfortable lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, and reaching/stooping as needed.
• Can work independently and follow safety guidelines.
• Comfortable interacting with individuals living with dementia and the elderly.
• Willing to complete a background check (required).
