We are a team of Human and Social Service providers who bring their organizations information, resources and direct services to underserved and rural communities. We also bring our lived-experience to everything we do because we could be, have been and many times are in a difficult position where we need help or information to help us address a need for ourselves or a family member or simply a person in distress.
We have three positions on our Board that are in need to you! Outreach- connecting with the community, nurturing our current partners, developing news ones and finding places for us to hold community events that give people hope. Fundraising - it is the hardest but most necessary part of being able to stay viable, increase our employees hours to cover more events, pay for the storage unit to holds our giveaways (basic need items), organizations insurance, venue rentals, etc. Marketing - gettng the word out! Connecting who we are and what we do to communities near and far. Always able to show us in our best light because of what we do and who we serve.
We meet every 4th Wednsday of the month from 6pm-7:30pm. We also meet on the alternate months to simply "check-in" to stay on top of all the moving parts. We host 8-10 Community Resource events, attend Partner Events as a vendor, and share vendor opportunities with our Partners so their organization/mission can be seen by the public.

We also could use your help for a single event on April 19th from 9a-2pm at the Clover Park College in Lakewood. This is a wellness event with over 50 vendors planning to attend. We need help with crowd control, helping vendors with their table set-ups, helping hand out give aways and raffles, help at the registration desk and so much more!!

Mission Statement
We are a direct service mobile team of Social and Human Service professionals. We host resource tables at events in Pierce and Thurston County, coordinating with our Community Partners to provide information to individuals and connecting them to services that meet their needs.
Description
PartnerCafe-Bridging the Gap across Sectors " began as a consortium of city, state and federal social service decision-makers coming together with community organizations, self-advocates and activists.
Our purpose, simply put, was to recognize our interdependence when serving diverse populations addressing multiple social problems.
We knew from the onset just recognizing social issues that have existed for years was not going to be enough. It demanded action.
This revelation created "On the Road with PartnerCafe", a newly formed 501c3 non-profit whose sole purpose is to reach people as they are by putting "boots on the ground". taking the resources and services we individually represent where they are needed.
As we work to change our communities and build on what we know, we recognized our website would also need to reflect our newly formed 501c3.
On The Road with PartnerCafe is a labor of love built on the knowledge that, by working together, we will achieve Amazing Things!
