Bilingual Volunteers Needed at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center Chicago Location

ORGANIZATION: Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center

While our Skokie location undergoes a major rennovation will be operating a sattelie location in Chicago!

Volunteers are an integral part of our team, serving as ambassadors to the community. If you are 18 or older with the desire to become more involved with the Museum, and have positive energy, flexibility, and a customer service mentality, we welcome you to join our team.

We are looking for bilingual volunteers in a number of different languages to help greet and direct our visitors.

Hours are flexible and training will be provided! Admission to the Museum Volunteer Program is open to all those who possess the qualities necessary to become an effective volunteer. All candidates must submit a Volunteer Application Form, agree to a background check, and complete their training before their first volunteer assignment.

2 Shifts

  • 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM CST - Spots available: 10+
    The Museum is open Wednesday - Sunday
  • 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM CST - Spots available: 10+
    The Museum is open Wednesday - Sunday

The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center is a project of the Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois. This new world-class museum is dedicated to preserving the memories of those lost in the Holocaust and teaching current generations about the need to fight hatred, indifference and genocide in today's world.
