8by8 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to stopping hate against Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. We promote civic participation by increasing voter registration and turnout, empowering the AAPI community to speak up, show up, and create real change.

We’re currently looking for a volunteer Instagram Content Creator to join our team and help grow our digital impact. If you're passionate about social justice and have a creative eye for visual storytelling, this is a great opportunity to use your skills for a meaningful cause.

What You'll Do:

• Create original and engaging Instagram content (posts, Reels, Stories) that highlights the importance of civic engagement and the fight against Asian hate

• Collaborate with our team to plan and execute campaigns aligned with our mission

• Stay current on Instagram trends and apply them to boost reach and engagement

• Write compelling captions and calls-to-action that encourage users to take part

• Track and analyze content performance to inform future posts

Who We're Looking For:

• You care deeply about the AAPI community and advocating for equality

• You have experience creating and editing content for Instagram

• You understand how to use trends, hashtags, and engagement strategies effectively

• You’re a creative thinker who’s organized and reliable

• Knowledge of civic participation or social justice is a bonus, but not required

Time Commitment:

• Flexible and remote
• Minimum of 1 hour per week
