We’re excited to invite you to be a part of something truly special-our upcoming A Walk for a Lifetime on June 1st in Verona Park! This event brings together our community to support individuals with autism, and we need passionate volunteers like you to help make it a success.

As a volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. Opportunities include:

✅ Event setup & breakdown
✅ Registration & check-in
✅ Assisting with kids corner activities
✅ Social media ambassadors
✅ Photographers

It’s a great way to give back, meet amazing people, and be a part of a meaningful cause. No experience is necessary-just a willingness to help and a big heart!

Volunteer Time Slots:

Set Up: 7am-9am

Event Help: 9am-11am

Break Down: 11am-1pm

Sun Jun 01, 2025 - 07:00 AM to 09:00 AM EST - Spots available: 5
Set Up: 7am-9am Assist in setting up chairs, tables, tents, flags, mile marker signs, decorations, kids corner, raffle, etc.
Sun Jun 01, 2025 - 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM EST - Spots available: 9
Event Help: 9am-11 am Work at registration table, sell 50/50 tickets, sell raffle tickets, run kids corner, run bake sale, etc.
Sun Jun 01, 2025 - 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM EST - Spots available: 5
Break Down: 11am-1pm Assist in picking up signage, chairs, tables, tents, decorations, kids corner games, etc.

Spectrum360’s mission is to provide the highest quality educational and therapeutic programs for individuals with learning, language and social/emotional challenges to achieve their maximum potential as responsible adults in society; recognize and value the individuals’ unique abilities, learning styles and differences; and serve as a leader in promoting innovative educational programs.

Description

Spectrum360 challenges expectations for children, adolescents, and adults across the full spectrum of autism and with behavioral and related disabilities through innovative special education, employment supports, and community-building.

We do not define individuals by their disabilities. Using evidence-based approaches, we push the boundaries of traditional programs and services, helping each person we serve to discover unique talents, develop self-worth, and maximize opportunities for independence, self-direction, citizenship, and community integration.

We provide educational and therapeutic services for students ages 3-21 in our two NJ Board of Education approved schools, Academy360 Lower School and Academy360 Upper School, NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities and Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services approved habilitation and vocational services in our adult center, Independence360, and education and skill building in our two speciality programs, FilmAcademy360 and CulinaryAcademy360 which are open to the community.
