Dear Brookline Community Members and Neighbors,

We are writing on behalf of Women Thriving, Inc. a dynamic, community-driven, Brookline-based organization dedicated to empowering women facing economic, social, and racial inequities. As we continue to expand our impact, we are seeking new board and committee members who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of women in Brookline and beyond.

Since its founding in 2011 as a program of the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health, and later becoming an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, Women Thriving has grown into a leading community agency. Our mission is to co-create opportunities for women to thrive through learning, leadership development, and community building. From offering workshops on resilience, health, and financial literacy to launching the BIPOC Leadership Program and Job Training Program for Immigrant Women, we are proud to provide life-changing resources and support.

Joining the Women Thriving Board offers a unique opportunity to:

• Give back to the Brookline community by helping to shape programs that uplift and empower women.
• Contribute your expertise and passion to a growing organization with a mission of advancing equity and creating opportunities for marginalized women.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of leaders dedicated to fostering inclusion, promoting systemic change, and building a more equitable future.
• Strengthen your own leadership skills through board governance, strategic planning, and community engagement.
• Work with a fabulous group of community leaders!

We are seeking dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds who share our values of acceptance, inclusion, respect, and collaboration. Whether you have expertise in - or passion for - nonprofit leadership, finance, fundraising, marketing, event management, program development, or community advocacy, your voice and skills can help us continue to expand our reach and impact.
