Purpose:
We need volunteers to assist with our Step-Up Marin ribbon cutting ceremony and annual fundraiser. Join our event team to provide a joyous celebration and successful fundraiser that allows us to continue to offer programs and services making it possible for underserved people to achieve well-being by providing the education, mental health, and vital services they need to live and thrive in Marin County.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide assistance with car parking; greeting and checking in attendees; announcing winners of the raffle/contest; helping with set/up and breakdown; and/or to being an event photographer.
Time Commitment:
· Friday May 16, 2025, from 3pm to 5:30pm: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
· Friday May 16, 2025, from 530pm-830pm: Annual Fundraiser Event
· If you can’t work at the event for the entire time, you can choose the number of hours you’re available.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
· An ability to assist in the logistics of executing a large event for 100+ guests.
· Desire to help ensure the event is executed seamlessly for the guests to enjoy.

Community Action Marin's programs include: BASIC HUMAN NEEDS: Emergency Family Needs Fund, Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) EARLY CHILDHOOD & FAMILY DEVELOPMENT: Head Start and Early Head Start, Marin Community Child Development Centers for families of low income FINANCIAL EDUCATION & TAX PREPARATION: Sparkpoint Marin financial, budgeting, and career coaching, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Homeless Outreach Team and housing supportive services Each program offers volunteer and employment opportunities geared toward specific program needs.
