Help Serve a Meal at the Center for Women and Children

Join us in making a meaningful impact by helping to prepare and serve meals to the residents of our detoxification and recovery program. These individuals are facing both housing insecurity and substance use addiction, and your support can make a significant difference in their lives. Our dedicated case managers and staff work tirelessly to ensure residents have access to essential resources and services that empower them to become more self-sufficient.

Meal Service Information

  • All volunteers must be at least 18.
  • Dinner Service Hours: 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm Mon-Thur
  • Volunteers for meal service can expect to assist with meal preparation, serving, and post-meal cleanup.
  • Volunteers should be able to stand for approximately two hours.

Volunteers of America, Utah is a human services 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with more than 300 paid staff who serve more than 8,000 people across the state each year through programs addressing homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness, and domestic violence. Thousands of volunteers and partners join with us to accomplish our mission to reach and uplift those in greatest need.
