Are you passionate about cooking and helping others? We’re seeking dedicated volunteers for our Cooking Together program, where you'll lead or assist in cooking classes that make a real difference.

In our classes, we focus on teaching practical skills to incorporate more vegetables into everyday meals, rather than just following recipes.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Chef-Educator Volunteers: Lead engaging cooking classes, sharing your expertise and inspiring others.
  • Assistant Volunteers: Support the chef, helping kids and families cook along and learn new skills.

Your time and enthusiasm can help empower families with valuable cooking skills. Interested? Reach out to us to find out how you can join our team and make a positive impact!

Mission Statement

Farm to Market, Market to Community. Farm Habit and Good Habits believe it takes a community to create a healthy lifestyle. We teach elementary students and their families about healthy eating and responsible farming practices, as well as running four Certified Farmers' Markets in Southern California. Farmer Mark's vision for his markets is to uphold the highest integrity, keep the best interest of the farmer and community in mind, educate consumers and actively promote the benefits of locally sourced produce. With this "Farmer First" philosophy, we strive to cultivate the best conditions for small farmers to sell the freshest and most nutritious produce direct to the community.
