About the Festival

2025 FESTIVAL DATES AND TIMES

  • Friday, June 27 - 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

  • Saturday, June 28 - 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

  • Sunday, June 29 - 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

​ BUT - the Festival needs help building the Festival and tearing it down - check out shifts for more specific projects and times!

​ FESTIVAL LOCATION

  • Festival surrounds Western Gateway Park with hours starting on Wednesday, June 25.​

PARKING

  • Free parking is available in the Nationwide Parking Garage, 1100 Walnut Street.

PERKS

  • ​​All volunteers receive a Des Moines Arts Festival volunteer t-shirt, a free pint from Exile Brewing, and snacks and drinks to keep you energized! PLUS - unlimited high fives!

The Des Moines Arts Festival is a free, three-day celebration of the arts on June 27-29, 2025 in downtown Des Moines' Western Gateway Park.
