Join us at our office to create literacy kits that turn story time into an exciting, interactive adventure for children and parents alike! These kits inspire a love of reading through engaging props and hands-on activities, all assembled by our amazing volunteers.
Once completed, the kits will be distributed to local children through United Way-funded agencies, bringing the magic of reading to those who need it most. Children aged 8 and up are welcome to join in and make a difference!

Description
United Way evolved from a group of community leaders recognizing the need for a unified effort to respond to human needs, dating back to 1929. The goals and objectives of United Way of Palm Beach County are constantly changing to reflect changes in our local community. We provide funding, volunteer services, assistance with community initiatives, training and implementation of outcome measurement and evaluation, corporate volunteer management assistance and management/program development training.
