We’re excited to offer a US based (remote) volunteer position within our operations team for a key SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST person. The role involves all aspects of social media including managing our social media channels, advertising and marketing, SEO and delivering our key campaigns throughout the United States.
Location: Remote
Role: Social Media Specialist- volunteer (US based remote)
Responsibilities:
Manage and administer a key social media duties including:
Management of all Social Media Channels (FaceBook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc)
Content Creation
Advertising
Marketing
Search Engine Optimization
Time Commitment: 10 hours per week

Mission Statement
The Wilms Cancer Foundation (WCF), is a charitable organization, that supports and represents the needs of children, families and healthcare organizations affected by the childhood kidney cancer nephroblastoma commonly known as 'Wilms’. Our mission is to establish an international program of awareness, education, advocacy, early detection and treatment to tackle the spread of childhood kidney cancer. We also seek to support children, families and organizations as they tackle cancer on a daily basis, through initiatives such as our 'Dream-Making’ program, in order to lighten the emotional and financial burden they face.
Description
The WCF is a leader in paediatric renal cancer information and care. It is a member of the International kidney Cancer Coalition, the International Society of Paediatric Oncology and a working partner of a number of nationally based kidney cancer organizations in low, middle and high income countries. It is guided by a scientific advisory board consisting of the worlds leaders in paediatric renal oncology from the United States, Europe and United Kingdom. it is the only charitable organization world-wide to specifically focus on the disease and is reliant on the donations it recieves
