ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Road work ahead? I sure hope it does!

The Mission Continues (TMC) is leading an initiative on April 26 to get Anacostia Park's Skating Pavilion ready for the summer, and they need your help! Come get your hands dirty with road repairs and repainting lines in the parking lots and nearby tennis courts so everything looks good for the expected crowds in the coming months.

Assemble at the Skating Pavilion's rear parking lot at 8:00 AM to meet your leaders, receive supplies and instructions, and get oriented to the projects ahead. Make sure to wear clothes you're ok with tarnishing so you can work with gravel, asphalt, and paint without worries of damaging a good outfit.

Sign up for this constructive event today, and please also let TMC know you're coming by filling out a form linked on their website!
