River Terrace Park Earth Day Cleanup

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

This Earth Day weekend, all paths lead towards giving back.

Celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up Anacostia Park's River Terrace area with Anacostia Watershed Society on April 26! Situated mere feet from the river, this quaint neighborhood's local waterway needs all the help we can give to stay clean and welcoming for its nearby residents.

Assemble by the tennis courts located at Benning Rd NE & Anacostia Ave NE at 11:00 AM, where Society members will provide all the supplies you'll need. We strongly suggest wearing close-toed shoes, long pants, and bringing plenty of water with you. Once the event has concluded, join the Society's After Celebration at the Anacostia Park Roller Skating Pavilion at 1:30 PM!

Sign up for this important opportunity today, and please also register with the Society to confirm your attendance and get additional information!
