Campground Host - John Redmond

Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, John Redmond Reservoir, located near Burlington Kansas and 11 miles south of Interstate-35, is looking to fill three (3) volunteer campground host positions for the 2021 recreation season. Duties include but are not limited to:
*Assist campers with registration. Campground hosts do not handle any money or checks. Campground registrations is complete online or over the phone through recreation.gov
*Provide campground monitoring, general information and answer questions
*Inform campers of regulations and report on violations to on-duty Park Ranger or volunteer coordinator
*Perform light maintenance duties including painting, updating bulletin boards, trail maintenance, tree maintenance, landscaping maintenance, and other duties as assigned
