Summer Games 2025 will be at Camp Albright in Reed City, Michigan.
Lifeguards are required to be at camp at least one hour prior to scheduled water activities and is to remain onsite until all water activities have concluded for the afternoon. Lifeguards are welcome to join us for lunch prior to water activities.
If needed, housing and food can be provided if the lifeguard is traveling too far to commute. There are also other roles and daily jobs that need to be completed by volunteers, which you are welcome to assist with.
There are two different types of water activities which our lifeguards need to fulfill: river and pool:
- River Lifeguard: MSupervise canoeing and tubing activities on the river and must be comfortable working in a kayak to monitor participants and assist as needed.
- Pool Lifguard: Oversee all swim tests, supervise pool activities, and ensuring camper safety while swimming.
It is preferable to have you work the entire week of camp, but it is not required. Please reach out for questions regarding scheduling.

Description
Summer Games Camp is a Christian camping experience designed to help youth begin and develop an active and life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Summer Games Camp is an experience where biblical events and practices are shown through creative worship experiences such as invitational opportunities to receive Christ as our Lord and Savior, prayer service, crucifixion pageant, etc. Centered on these experiential worship services, biblical teaching and the leadership provided by a staff of volunteers, Summer Games Camp encourages young people to live their life based on the great commission of Jesus Christ.
