Every day, vulnerable puppies and kittens in our community need a safe place to land, and that place could be your home. As a foster parent with Kitty Puppy Alliance, you'll care for babies who are too young, too small, or too scared to be in a shelter. From bottle-feeding newborns to socializing playful litters able to eat on their own, fostering helps these little ones grow healthy, confident, and ready for forever homes.

Whether you can foster for a few days, a few weeks, or longer, we provide everything you need: food, litter, crates, medical care, and around-the-clock support. You’ll never be on your own, our team is here to help every step of the way.

Description

Kitty Puppy Alliance (KPA) is a small but mighty foster-based animal rescue based in Miami, Florida. We were founded on the belief that no pet should be left behind simply because their family is facing tough times. What started as a grassroots effort to help stray kittens has grown into a compassionate community of fosters, volunteers, and advocates working together to keep pets out of shelters and in loving homes, whether that’s their original home or a new one.
We’re looking for volunteers who want to make a real difference, whether that’s by fostering, helping at events, transporting supplies, creating educational content, or sharing our mission online. If you’re passionate about animals, community, and creating a world where no one has to choose between their pet and their survival, we’d love to welcome you to the KPA family.

  • Foster parents are asked for a minimum of 2–4 hours per day. Younger animals require more time for feeding and care, while older, more independent animals need less. Commitments vary, and we’ll match you with the right foster animals for your schedul
  • Foster parents should maintain open communication, assist with socialization, attend vet appointments, and participate in meet-and-greets when possible. We provide all training and support to ensure you're successful in giving foster animals the best
