Mission Statement

The mission of the Freddie Ford Family Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the St. Louis metropolitan area for under-served children and families impacted by autism by providing educational, and social services to families in need as well as raise awareness and acceptance of autism.

Description

The Freddie Ford Family Foundation supports under served families impacted by autism and are working diligently to raise awareness and acceptance of autism. Our programs support families and help educate families and the public on autism. The Freddie Ford Family Foundation has hosted a series of webinars regarding autism and the various therapies for families. We have donated sensory boxes for families during Covid 19 to support autistic children. We have adopted families for Christmas. We have donated Easter baskets. We have an annual event, Heroes for Autism 5K and 1 mile race. Finally, we are hosting our summer camp for autism this July 2021. We want to help autistic learn sports and enjoy camp for a fun summer experience.

Our future programs include social skills, employment skills and readiness, college preparation and transition, parent support, and transition program out of high school.
