Join us for the Center Work Education and Employment - CWEE Serves Day! We will be coming together with our community to work on projects at CWEE in support of our amazing career seekers.

We will have various opportunities from 9 am to 1 pm, such as working in our professional clothing boutique or our resource room.

Clothing Boutique - Sorting clothes, hangers, and restocking inventory

Resource Room - Stocking food and supplies, and sorting clothes

Come by yourself and connect with other CWEE community members or bring a few friends or colleague to introduce them to our work and impact!

The Center for Work Education and Employment (CWEE) is a non-profit that helps low-income families who are under or unemployed access workforce development, education and training, essential resources, mental health support, and transformative coaching to support economic mobility and growth.

Description

The Center for Work Education and Employment's program supports for low-income, career seeking parents through three key programs: Foundational, Wellness, and Employment and Education programming. In the Foundational phase, CWEE helps participants set goals related to housing, childcare, and transportation to ensure long-term employment stability. The Wellness component provides trauma-informed counseling and social-emotional learning to improve emotional regulation and stress management. The Employment and Education program offers personalized career readiness training, digital skills, job search support, and information on educational opportunities like college and trade programs.
