Unified Fitness Clubs - Volunteer Opportunity with Special Olympics
Unified Fitness Clubs (UFC) are inclusive health and fitness programs that bring together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to work out, build friendships, and promote overall well-being. Organized through Special Olympics, these clubs are a cornerstone of the Unified movement, fostering a sense of belonging, mutual support, and community through regular fitness activities.
Volunteer Role:
As a volunteer, you’ll serve as a Unified Partner, motivator, or coach-joining athletes in workouts, leading exercises, or helping facilitate group activities. No prior experience is necessary-just a positive attitude, a commitment to inclusion, and a passion for helping others reach their fitness goals.
