Unified Fitness Clubs - Volunteer Opportunity with Special Olympics

Unified Fitness Clubs (UFC) are inclusive health and fitness programs that bring together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to work out, build friendships, and promote overall well-being. Organized through Special Olympics, these clubs are a cornerstone of the Unified movement, fostering a sense of belonging, mutual support, and community through regular fitness activities.

Volunteer Role:
As a volunteer, you’ll serve as a Unified Partner, motivator, or coach-joining athletes in workouts, leading exercises, or helping facilitate group activities. No prior experience is necessary-just a positive attitude, a commitment to inclusion, and a passion for helping others reach their fitness goals.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Meaningful connections with incredible athletes

  • Leadership and teamwork experience

  • Knowledge about inclusive health practices

  • The joy of making a real difference in someone’s life

Whether you’re a student, coach, fitness enthusiast, or someone who just loves to give back, Unified Fitness Clubs offer a fun, rewarding way to contribute to your community and promote inclusion through fitness.
