Recruiting Organization: Great River Greening

Lumberjack Landing is a 15-acre in-progress park in Stillwater, purchased by the city in 2017. Located north of downtown on the St. Croix River, it will soon offer access for canoes and kayaks. Restoration efforts include removing invasive species like black locust, buckthorn, and garlic mustard to promote native plant growth. Native plants and trees will be planted into the cleared understory. Volunteers are needed to help with these efforts!
