Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented volunteer to assist in the research and writing of grant applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the organization's mission and values, a desire to help others and excellent research, organization, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify new grant opportunities from foundations and corporations
- Add grants to the database of potential funding sources and deadlines
- Stay up-to-date on new opportunities in grant funding that align with our mission
- Assist in writing grant proposals, applications, and supporting materials
- Ensure proposals meet the requirements and guidelines of each funder
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to tailor proposals to different funding sources
- Brainstorm and help develop creative fundraising ideas and strategies
- Help with promotional materials and event outreach to attract potential donors and supporters
Qualifications:
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Interest or experience in nonprofit organizations, fundraising, and grant writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for our mission and a desire to contribute to the success of our programs
- Available 3-5 hours a week

Description
Mission Addiction was founded by a business consultant and faith leader in January, 2017.
- Everything we do is offered in person and online.
- We've had the pleasure of working with participants and volunteers in 28 states, 3 other countries and 9 time zones.
We serve:
- Hurting Individuals (16+)
- Struggling Couples
- Strained Families
- People in recovery from addiction to sin, behavior or substance
- Anyone looking to improve their life and grow in faith!
