Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Voluntary Program Manager to oversee the Health Coaching Program. This role will manage the program’s operations, strategic partnerships, staff, and development projects, ensuring the program meets its goals and delivers positive outcomes for participants. The Program Manager will work closely with the medical directors to report on the program’s impact, develop marketing strategies, and lead outreach efforts. This position is remote, with the expectation of occasional travel for events and community engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management & Staff Oversight:

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Health Coaching Program, ensuring the program is running smoothly and meeting its objectives.
  • Lead the hiring, staff retention and termination efforts for staffing of the department.
  • Supervise a team of health coaches and support staff, providing guidance, feedback, and regular performance evaluations.
  • Organize regular team meetings, ensuring communication is clear, and that staff is supported in delivering high-quality coaching services.

Program Development & Strategic Partnerships:

  • Identify and research potential grant opportunities to secure funding for program expansion and improvement.
  • Lead the development of proposals and collaborate with other team members to craft strong, compelling applications.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, local organizations, and other stakeholders to increase the program’s reach and effectiveness.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are being met.
  • Collect and report on data related to program impact and outcomes to the medical directors regularly.
  • Assist with the development of program reports, including impact assessments, progress updates, and success stories.
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and documentation, are completed on time and to a high standard.

Marketing & Sales:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the Health Coaching Program, both to potential participants and partner organizations.
  • Assist in sales efforts by creating promotional materials, outreach campaigns, and community presentations.
  • Build and maintain a strong online presence for the program, utilizing social media and other platforms to engage with the target audience.

Event & Program Development:

  • Plan and manage health-related events, including webinars, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Develop and coordinate new program offerings and initiatives that align with the overall mission of the Health Coaching Program.
  • Ensure seamless execution of events, from logistics to content delivery, ensuring they provide value to participants and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in program management, preferably in a healthcare or wellness-related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with grant writing and fundraising efforts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with health coaching principles, wellness programs, or healthcare services.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks.
  • Comfort with remote work and managing projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare marketing or outreach.
  • Knowledge of program evaluation and impact measurement.
  • Experience in event management and community outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data management systems.

Additional Information:

  • This position is voluntary and is approximately 12 hours per week, offering flexibility in scheduling.
  • While the role is primarily work-from-home, occasional fieldwork for outreach events and community engagement will be required.
