I Want To Mow Your Lawn Inc. is a grassroots nonprofit making a big difference through free landscaping and yard work. We help veterans, seniors, and struggling families maintain their lawns when they no longer can. Volunteers like you make this mission possible.

Got a mower or trimmer? Awesome. Don't? That's okay too-some homeowners have theirs. Whether you assist one time or become a regular, we see and appreciate your efforts.

Description

I Want To Mow Your Lawn(r) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID: 85-3447661) that connects homeowners in need with a nationwide network of passionate landscaping volunteers. Launched in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we provide completely free lawn care services to seniors over 65, military veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those facing financial challenges, while prioritizing eco-friendly practices and fostering community connection.

Founded by Brian Schwartz after being laid off from his digital advertising job, the initiative began as a way to stay engaged during a difficult time. It has since grown into a thriving platform with over 1,300 volunteers across the USA and even some enlisted in other countries. With their help, we've revitalized countless yards, spreading kindness one lawn at a time.

Thanks to support from leading battery-powered equipment manufacturers and recognition in major media outlets, I Want To Mow Your Lawn(r) has become a growing, trademarked brand. Our mission connects the dots between homeowners and volunteers, offering relief while encouraging neighbors to lend a hand and make a difference. Whether it's trimming, edging, or just showing up to say hello, our volunteers help transform neighborhoods into stronger, greener communities.
