Do you want to make a real difference with your time and talents? I’m seeking a committed, heart-forward Volunteer Fundraising & Outreach Assistant to help raise funds for urgent humanitarian, educational, and medical response efforts in Ukraine.

You’ll help coordinate online fundraising campaigns, connect with potential donors and partners, and help tell the story of impact. You’ll gain hands-on nonprofit experience, develop outreach and marketing skills, and directly support efforts that save lives and build community resilience in a conflict zone.

This is more than a volunteer job. It’s a chance to use your voice to support something powerful.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with the creation and promotion of online fundraising campaigns

  • Write and schedule social media posts related to fundraising goals and impact

  • Help maintain donor communications (updates, thank-you notes, follow-ups)

  • Research small grants or fundraising opportunities

  • Assist in building outreach lists for potential supporters or partnerships

  • Track donations and maintain organized records

  • Provide creative input on how to grow our reach

What You’ll Get:

  • One-on-one mentoring and coaching for professional development

  • A free consultation to plan your own solo travel to Europe (including insider tips, budgeting, and safety planning)

  • Help arranging travel or accommodations in Ukraine if you choose to visit

  • Resume/LinkedIn help and a personalized letter of recommendation

  • A meaningful volunteer experience with real impact stories you’ll be proud to tell

You Are:

  • A strong communicator (written + verbal)

  • Comfortable with digital tools (social media, Canva, email, or spreadsheets)

  • Passionate about humanitarian work and global justice

  • Self-directed and consistent-you follow through and care deeply

  • Bonus: You have an interest in international development, marketing, nonprofit work, or social impact

How to Apply:
Send a short message (shannonttaft@gmail.com) introducing yourself and why this opportunity speaks to you. Feel free to include any links to your work or resume (optional).

Let’s create something powerful together.
